Control plans

Inspection lots with sampling
The sampling rule is copied onto the lot at creation and never re-read, so editing a plan cannot silently re-judge historical lots.
SPC and capability
Cp, Cpk, Pp and Ppk computed from within and overall sigma separately, with an individuals chart and Nelson rules. Drift between Cpk and Ppk is flagged.
Gage calibration and MSA
Calibration register with a recall query, plus Gage R&R by ANOVA, attribute agreement with kappa, and bias, linearity and stability studies.
Nonconformance and CAPA
A failed effectiveness check returns the NC to in-progress rather than closing it — the commonest way a CAPA system becomes decorative.
