Prabandh for Retail & Fashion New · AI-Powered PLM + ERP

Range to delivery —
costed before you commit.

A complete PLM built on a GST-native ERP for apparel, footwear and lifestyle brands. Plan the season, build the colourway BOM, issue the tech pack, run the samples, quote the factories — and see the landed cost of every origin before the buy, not after the container lands.

A product of Prabandh — the SaaS brand of Manhotra Consulting.

What most PLM tools leave to a spreadsheet

Six capabilities that change the decision, not just the record.

🌐

Tariff & Landed-Cost Simulator

Ask what a duty change does to a buy before you place it: freight, insurance, duty and port charges resolved per origin, with the duty rate at which one supplier overtakes another.

🔀

What-If Range Scenarios

Model an 8% cost rise or a 60% sell-through against the live plan without editing it. The plan stays untouched; the scenario is a projection you adopt or discard.

📊

Range Readiness

Not how many styles you have, but how many are actually shippable — tech pack, cost, approved sample, sellable SKUs — with the failing styles named, never just a percentage.

🧾

Quote Comparison

Supplier quotes normalised to landed cost per unit. A quote missing its terms is flagged, never silently ranked as though it were comparable.

📐

Graded Point-of-Measure

The grade is derived from the size chart rather than typed, so a chart and its grade rule cannot disagree — and an uneven grade is surfaced instead of shipped to a factory.

🔍

Barcode & Compliance Checks

GTIN check digits validated as you type, naming the digit it should have been. A wrong barcode is otherwise caught by the retailer, weeks later, after the labels print.

Every figure carries its coverage. A margin built from half a range says so, and an unplanned season reads as unplanned rather than as zero — because a confident number over partial data is worse than no number at all.

Complete module suite

12 integrated modules. One login.

Design, merchandising, sourcing, costing and finance on one record — not a PLM sitting beside an ERP, exchanging spreadsheets.

🗓️

Seasons

Season master with roll-forward, and carryover / drop / addition decisions carrying their provenance.

📋

Line Planning

Excel-like grid: channel, doors, buy quantity, sell-through, merch role, delivery dates.

🎨

Colour & Material Library

Pantone references, colour families, fabrics and trims with supplier assignment.

🧵

Retail BOM

Colourways as columns, components as lines — overrides only where a colourway differs.

Programme & Projects

Critical-path scheduling, stage gates, earned value and working calendars.

🧮

ERP Core

GST invoicing, inventory, purchase, accounting and payroll on the same record.

Real merchandising pain. Real fix.

Four problems every fashion brand recognises.

⚠️ Pain

The range lives in a spreadsheet

Line plans get emailed, forked and re-forked. Two people quote different buy quantities for the same style, and nobody can say which version the factory was booked against.

✅ Prabandh fix

One line plan per season, rolled forward from the last one, with an approval gate between the brand manager and the line planner and every change on an audit trail.

⚠️ Pain

Margin discovered after the buy

FOB is negotiated, then freight, insurance and duty land later and the margin is whatever survives. A duty change hits an order already in the water.

✅ Prabandh fix

Landed cost is modelled per origin before the commitment, and the simulator gives you the duty rate at which the cheaper supplier stops being cheaper.

⚠️ Pain

Sample round three, same style

A rejected fit sample usually means the tech pack was ambiguous, not that the vendor failed. Without the link, the same ambiguity is repeated next season.

✅ Prabandh fix

Samples are tied to the tech pack revision they were made from, so a repeat round reads as a specification problem you can actually fix.

⚠️ Pain

Quotes that cannot be compared

Ninety days on open account against a letter of credit at sight is not the same price. Comparing on the headline number alone is comparing nothing.

✅ Prabandh fix

Quotes carry payment terms, lead time and MOQ and are ranked on landed cost per unit — an incomplete quote is flagged rather than ranked.

Role-based access

A view for every role, including the factory.

Vendors work in a scoped supplier portal — they see the RFQ they were invited to, and nothing else.
